Marci & Brent got married on 9/10/11 in Jamaica!! 

As a surprise, Marci's mom flew to Jamaica to share in 

her daughter's special day. No one knew...not even the 

wonderful Laurie from Travel Today with Ms. Laughner

who helped set the wedding up.

They were telling us that it was sooo much fun running through the airport

with a wedding dress in tow!

I don't know what will!

It's a wonder she isn't standing crooked because 

it's so heavy on her little petite body!

This was wedding 3 of 4 in a row and wedding number 2 of 3 in a row

that had their reception at Beechwoods Restaurant & Lounge.

I can not say enough wonderful things about Dagmar. I had my wedding

reception there and she made everything so easy and most of all

STRESS FREE! LOVE Dagmar!

Welcome to the world, Miss Xaeda! This is my step dad and mother's FOURTH

grand daughter...4 years in a row! YES, the were blessed with a baby girl one

per year, 4 years in a row =] 

Xaeda has the cutest ears and chubby cheekers!

I thought I was going to have to go all the way to Pittsburgh! (I'm in Curwensville.) My husband is in Afghanistan right now, so the photos would just be of our daughter and myself. Let me know if I need to do anything (like if there's a form I need to fill out or something) and when you might be available to take them. I look forward to hearing from you."

 

And so began my journey offering military families a little slice of heaven

straight from the mailman =] 

 

Expecting to travel clear to Pittsburgh, Chelsey was super excited to have

found me close to home and couldn't wait to surprise her husband. Their sweet pea, Flora, 

was born after Daddy had already deployed and every picture of her is so precious to him.

 

After speaking to each other back and forth, we agreed to do the session at Bilger's Rocks in Grampian. 

Our calendars matched up for the first week in October, which happened to share a special

date for this military wife, their second wedding anniversary.

 

And, I came to find out, not only is this their wedding anniversary...Flora's parent's got 

married at Bilger's Rocks!

 

 If you would have told Chelsey on her wedding day, that 2years from now

her darling husband would be miles and miles away and she would

be sharing the day with their beautiful 6 month old daughter, 

she'd most likely be in disbelief.

 

Flora's Daddy has since returned home to his two beautiful girls, just in time to celebrate 

Flora's first Easter and her first birthday! I hope your family received as much joy

as I did creating these portraits for you. Much love and a huge thank you

for your services =]

I have exciting news, Mrs. Mallory is now expecting! =]

I do not know why or how, but I attract a LOT of brides

who either are expecting the day of their wedding, or

not too long after. Future brides, fair warning!

There's something romantic and fills your heart up with love

seeing the Mallory and Josh hold hands at the alter.

I love the motion of the couples in the background and that time is

standing still for the newly weds while they gaze deeply into each

others eyes, dreaming of what their future holds. *sigh* =]

The Strait wedding was truly an experience for me.

I was in the minority. And this minority has nothing to do with race,

religion, or sexual preference.

I was in the minority because I could hear and did not

know how to use sign language.

I felt so blessed to share such a momentous day for a very special couple.

They met at a school for the deaf and fell in love. The absolute joy

on the faces of their family and friends that day was contagious!

Baby Hunter is the MOST adorable son of Sam, a friend from college.

Hunter the perfect button nose and squishy baby lips!

This is what I did with all of my time while on maternity leave...stop and stare.

Totally in awe and wonderment...110% in LOVE!

That's a proud furkid if I ever saw one! =]

And did I mention Hunter has the coooooootest Charlie Brown swirl?!?!

Kayla is a very good friend of my cousin Jenna.

Kayla, Lindsay and Jenna are all in 4-H together...

...and they all show cows for the fair off of Jenna's farm.

 

So it was only fitting that they all got their senior pictures taken at the farm! =]

Kayla's little brother tagged along and he was a bit jealous

that his sister got to sit in the driver's seat!

Besides showing cows and being involved in 4-H, Kayla is also a part

of the DAHS Rifle team.

She surprised the heck outta me! I did not expect a total

model to love shooting a gun!

I photographed Megan's big brother's wedding back in 2009 at the

Road Less Traveled Bed & Breakfast in Clearfield, PA.

The Montini wedding was by far one of my most favorite weddings

to have photographed to date!

I was so excited when I heard Megan and Jacob got engaged!

Nothing beats another fun Montini wedding =]

Especially when it's a second extravaganza at the Road Less

Traveled B&B!!

I met Leslie while persuing my marketing at Penn State DuBois.

I met Shane in a round about way. His best friend James has been

dating on of my coworker friends from Hoss's at the time.

(James and Morgan are still dating...I am anxiously awaiting for them

to FINALLY get engaged!)

Leslie was EXTREMELY nervous about engagement pictures.

I assured her, they will be awesome. We will have TONS of fun!

Admittedly, a brewski at their favorite sports bar, Sluggers, did help a

little bit. But is in no way a requirement =]

Leslie has this OCD complex about her and Shane wearing the same shirts or

color combinations. But the Twins shirts made an exception =]

Be still my romantic heart!

They will make cutie patootie babies one day =] =] =]

But until then, meet Lula, their furbaby.

collected seashells and took on a big wave!

Mr. Pelican. I didn't realize how BIG of a bird they are until

we met this guy. He was just hanging out by himself in the

surf watching the sunrise. He really did not seem threated

and my father in law was within a foot or two of him.

There is seriously nothing cuter than sandy baby rolls!

While in Savannah, we visited my husband's cousin, his wife and this

is their cute cute furbaby, Gizmo.

A large part of our time at the beach was spent chasing the seagulls

with a one year old and two year old. They looked like Elmira!

Kensi is such a peanut!! Weighing in at 5 pounds 6 ounces, she's my tiniest newborn yet!

Daddy is the Fire Chief and Mommy is a firefighter too.

Needless to say, firefighting is definitely in Kensi's blood!

This little stinker refused to sleep until I was packing all my gear.

She was also being stubborn: she hated to be on her belly for a

cute butt in the air picture, but as soon as she got on her side

she was golden. Could have hung out there forever.

You just never know what the kiddos are going to do to

keep themselves entertained during the ceremony.

Dudley and Amy's wedding was my first Friday wedding...and I loved it!!

This bride had THREE different pair of shoes for her day and two dresses.

So sweet!

They actually had quite the evening before the wedding. BOTH Dudley

and Amy were in the ER, at different times.

Amy had an alergic reaction to her antibiotics and broke out in hives! (YIKES!)

Thankfully, you couldn't tell at all. In fact, it was completely gone the morning

of the wedding day.

Dudley was hanging signs to direct wedding guests to the ceremony and reception venue.

He was using a knife and needless to say the score was Knife: 1 Dudley: 0.

About a half a dozen or so stitches later, he was in business...but he couldn't

bend his pointer finger...he had stitches on both sides (yea, went clean through! bleh!)

Sweet little Breanna's parents are friends with Lily's baby sitter.

Since Missy and I did nothing but talk baby while she was pregnant,

I got to sneak in this cutie patootie =]

Breanna's parents are volunteer firefighters. She is laying on Mom's coat.

So precious! And as you can see, Breanna has some crazy cowlicks

on her forehead!

Hailey's first birthday she was in this same chair but wearing a tutu =]

I love her lip she's biting on.

Totally excited for her birthday coming up!

And YES she's a wild woman!

Hailey wasn't too sure of the wishing well...

...so we put stinky in there with her. (Who thought it was tons of fun!)

I believe she was singing "Ring around the rosie".

That song provides HOURS of entertainment, much to Dad's dismay!

Ooh Doodlebug, I can't believe you are TWO! And now so close to three.

The time seriously flies by and I can't wait to see what the future holds

Our next adventure I had a shadow that liked to quack =]

This is the first time in all my photo sessions that I have seen a black bear,

a duck that wanted to be my assistant and a bunch of frogs! I think we did pretty good!

I met Wendy and Jason at the DuBois Country Club's Bridal Fair

in February of 2011.

I always ask to see if the couple has already booked a wedding photographer.

I know how overwhelming it can be, so I don't like to load up a bride

with information if they don't need it. However, if they want to

know I am happy to share =]

Wendy and Jason were to get married October 22, 2011.

This was a very popular date last year and I had had several brides visit my

table with that date.

But it was when they said it was a Halloween themed wedding

(and she was wearing the biggest blackest dress she could find!)

that I was begging for them to choose me on the inside!
